URGENT

WATER SHUTOFF

Bay Street

The contractor must shut off the water to all properties on Bay Street tomorrow, Oct. 8, starting no earlier than 8 a.m. to move a fire hydrant.

The water should be back on by 7 p.m.

Brentwood Avenue
The contractor will prep for curb and gutter work, which will begin Wednesday, by setting string for the curb machine. The string will go across driveways, so any vehicles needed the rest of the week should be out of driveways by 10 a.m. tomorrow. Minor delays are expected.

 

Wednesday through Friday this week, the neighborhood will be completely closed from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. to vehicle traffic. The shuttle will be available from Manitou Park and running like before.
 

 

Pleasant Avenue

 

Tomorrow the contractor will backfill curb. Paving will happen on Wednesday starting around 7 a.m. As soon as the pavement is down, you can drive over it, but it will be tight in the area so please expect major delays. Paving should be done by the end of the day.
 

 

Birch Bluff Road

 

Paving will happen from Crescent Beach to Pleasant Avenue Wednesday. As soon as the pavement is down, you can drive over it, but it will be tight in the area so please expect major delays. Paving should be done by the end of the day.

10/7/2024

Pleasant Avenue
The contractor will backfill the curb and continue grading the road. Traffic delays are expected but no road closures. 
Brentwood Avenue
A crew will continue to work on drain tile. No delays are expected.
Birch Bluff Road
CenterPoint may be finishing up gas main work.

 
10/3/2024
Pleasant Avenue
The contractor will continue placing class 5 (gravel material) ahead of paving. No traffic issues are anticipated.
Birch Bluff Road
CenterPoint Energy is continuing their gas main work. If you have any questions or concerns, you may reach out to Levar Roberts, inspector, at 612-246-8331. 
Brentwood Avenue
A crew will be installing drain tile. No traffic issues are anticipated.

The contractor will be placing gravel in preparation for paving. Slight delays are expected but no closures. 
Birch Bluff Road
