2025 Street and Utility Improvements Project Updates

The contractor is making good progress on street construction. The sub-base has been stabilized, and they are about ready for curb work to begin.
Beginning Monday, May 19 Birch Bluff Road will be a one-way road from Manitou to Pleasant. We are doing this because the construction crews will be setting up for pouring the concrete curbs and there will not be enough room for 2-way traffic. Residents are asked to circle around using Pleasant when leaving or accessing their driveway.
On Wednesday, May 21 and Thursday, May 22 the contractor will begin curb work, weather depending. Residents will not have access to their driveways between 7 AM-7 PM. If you need to use your vehicle during this time, please park at Crescent Beach or at Old Orchard Park by City Hall. Residents will have access to their driveways after 7 PM. If you have special access needs on those 2 dates, please let us know and we will see how we can accommodate your needs.
Temporary Mailboxes
Temporary mailboxes have been installed for affected residents on Birch Bluff Road. They are located on the corner of Pleasant and Birch Bluff.
The mailboxes are up today, Monday, May 12. Deliveries may continue as normal, but you may want to provide instructions to delivery drivers.
