Job Opening: Public Works Seasonal Maintenance

Pay: $18 - $20 per hour

Performs a variety or non-supervisory public works tasks. Assists with the maintenance and upkeep of city property, parks, trails, and streets. Conducts manual labor and operates light equipment such as riding mower and weed trimmer. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, responsible, self-starter with positive attitude, and have a commitment to high quality work. Must have the ability to work independently.

Minimum qualifications: Responsible individual, at least 18 years of age. Must have the ability to lift 35-50 pounds frequently and work independently outdoors for 40 hours per week. Possess a Valid Minnesota driver’s license.

Desired qualifications: Experience working with maintenance equipment independently, or similar in nature. Black top experience preferred.

Work hours: 6 am to 2 pm Monday - Thursday and 6 am to 10 am Friday from May through September.
