Public Hearing and Summary Publication Notices

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICES 

Meeting information will be available on the City’s website at least 72 hours before the date of the meeting.  At the public hearing, any person wishing to express a view regarding the proposed ordinance will be heard orally or in writing. Materials regarding the above items are available for review at City Hall upon request.  All persons wishing to be heard on the above item should attend the meeting or submit written comments.  Written comments may be emailed to the City no later than noon on the day of the meeting.

Delinquent Utilities Public Hearing:

A Public Hearing where the City Council will review and consider the certification of any unpaid utility balances to the 2025 property tax rolls.

 

Truth In Taxation Public Hearing:

The City of Tonka Bay will hold a Truth in Taxation hearing to provide information to residents regarding the proposed property tax levy and budget for the upcoming year. This hearing is conducted in accordance with state law and is intended to promote transparency in the City’s financial planning process. During the hearing, residents will have the opportunity to review budget details, understand how tax dollars are allocated, and provide public comment before the City Council adopts the final levy and budget.
