Wekota Park and Beach

Wekota Park and Beach are located on West Point Road.  
This park and beach include a walking trail, picnic tables and playground equipment.   
There is also a tennis and basketball court.

Public Beach Water Testing
Hennepin County will be collects water samples at Wekota Beach and Crescent Beach weekly during the summer period of May 22^nd, 2023 – August 28^th, 2023. The water samples are tested Mondays unless there is a scheduled holiday; for the holidays that fall on a Monday (Memorial Day and Juneteenth), samples will be collected Tuesday. 

Hennepin County’s “Public Swimming Beaches” website features an interactive map for beachgoers; it is updated in real-time to reflect beach status along with any beach closures (www.hennepin.us/beaches).
